Job Summary:

Southeast Connections, LLC is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating various heavy equipment such as backhoes, excavators, and trenchers to install, remove, and maintain underground utilities and pipe installation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate heavy equipment such as backhoes, excavators, and trenchers to perform construction and maintenance duties related to the natural gas industry.
  • Load and transport materials and equipment from the yard to the job site and secure them as necessary.
  • Install, remove, or maintain underground utilities as directed, including carrying pipe, bags of material, and other heavy items.
  • Secure the work site, equipment, and materials at the end of each shift to ensure public safety and safety of equipment and materials.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 3 years of prior operating experience required.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and the ability to obtain a CDL.
  • Gas construction experience and a strong work ethic are essential.
