Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Office Assistant to join our team in Manhattan, KS. This role will involve working closely with providers and veterans to ensure smooth operations of our Veterans Evaluation Services (VES) Team. As a Medical Office Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA policies.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist providers and veterans on exam days as needed.
- Gather and provide necessary information to providers, including forms, documents, and vital signs necessary to the evaluation.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and directing all visitors, answering inquiries, and confirming contact and appointment information.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records, including documentations of actions taken and other pertinent information.
- Clean exam rooms between each appointment and maintain stock and cleanliness of the clinic throughout the day.

Requirements and Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Ability to travel by car to local clinics and other central clinic locations up to 80% of the time.
- Ability to work hybrid remote up to 20% of the time.
- Reliable transportation to travel to other clinics required.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Ability to work some weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday) as needed required.

The estimated salary for this role is $21.00 per hour, based on industry standards and the location of Manhattan, KS.
