The Crude Oil Driver will perform a variety of routine and complex transportation work in driving and coordinating transportation plans for M & R TRUCKING, INC.
Responsibilities:- Participate in pre-trip preparations of vehicle to ensure safe and efficient transportation.
- Ensure proper equipment is loaded on vehicle prior to leaving the yard to maintain compliance with regulations.
- Accurately fill out Log Book to track transportation activities.
- Coordinate with dispatch office for job assignments, maps, special instructions, and other essential information.
- Drive crude truck safely and efficiently to meet transportation needs.
- Conduct JSA before entering job site and plan entry route to minimize risks.
- Operate pump to facilitate transportation operations.
- Prepare post-trip reports for any damaged equipment to ensure maintenance and repair.
- Load hoses on and off of truck to maintain equipment and ensure safe transportation.
- Complete logs, Job Safety Analysis, vehicle inspection reports, way bills, BBS cards, and fuel reports to maintain accurate records.
- Maintain confidentiality in dealing with business information and report all incidents or unsafe actions and/or worksites to supervisors.
- Notify supervisor or dispatcher of any uncompleted jobs to ensure timely completion.
