Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Best One Tire & Service. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on semi-trucks, diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues, and conducting inspections and preventative maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on semi-trucks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Conduct inspections and perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure vehicles are in good working condition.
  • Repair or replace faulty parts and components, including diesel engines, transmissions, and axles.
  • Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify problems and recommend repairs.
  • Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines and vehicle systems.
  • Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
