ROLE SUMMARY:

The Controllers Group is seeking an Associate in Dallas, TX, to join our fund accounting team. This position encompasses a variety of responsibilities, including:

  • Overseeing the preparation of regulatory and compliance reports, as well as reports for the Board of Directors related to funds.
  • Engaging in new fund launches, which includes reviewing fund documentation, setting up funds, and selecting vendors.
  • Assisting team and department managers with various special projects.
  • Managing technology initiatives by defining project scopes, overseeing timelines, and coordinating testing efforts.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
  • CPA designation preferred, with experience in investment companies.
  • Experience in private equity is advantageous.
  • Strong technical expertise in accounting and financial reporting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
