Medical Assistant/Registered Nurse - Cosmetic Surgery

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Assistant/Registered Nurse to join our team at Vitenas Cosmetic Surgery in the Galleria area of Houston. As a leader in cosmetic surgery, we pride ourselves on providing a safe and luxury experience for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Rooming patients and preparing them for procedures
  • Assisting with office procedures and pre and post-operative patient care
  • Triage telephone calls and schedule surgery/prep paperwork and prescriptions for preops
  • Help obtain medical clearance for patients and assist with patient follow-up visits
  • Set up and prep patients for Botox and filler procedures
  • Upload photos and schedule patient exam rooms and photo rooms

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years' experience as a Medical Assistant/Registered Nurse
  • Knowledge of all surgical procedures performed
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player with high ethical standards and a well-groomed, professional appearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in Cosmetic/Plastic Surgery or Dermatology Practice
  • Knowledge of Injectables and Nextech EMR
  • Texas medical assistant certification and bilingual skills (English/Spanish)
