Role Responsibilities:
  • As a Systems Architect, you will be tasked with evaluating user requirements, operational concepts, and overarching system architectures to formulate system requirements specifications.
  • Lead the analysis of system requirements and spearhead design and development initiatives.
  • Assist users in articulating their requirements, propose alternative solutions, and conduct feasibility assessments.
  • Provide technical direction for the integration of requirements, design, and technology, ensuring the incorporation of new plans and systems into ongoing operations.
  • Generate comprehensive technical documentation.
  • Create system architecture and design documentation.
  • Guide system development and implementation planning through the preparation of system engineering management plans and integration/test plans.
  • Engage with government representatives regarding technical considerations in Systems Engineering and address associated challenges.
  • Hold ultimate accountability for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables related to the Systems Engineering domain.
  • Facilitate communication with program personnel, government stakeholders, and senior management.
Essential Skills:
  • Proficient in Directory Services, particularly Microsoft Active Directory (AD) and AD Lightweight Directory Services (AD LDS) - Microsoft certification on the Server platform is essential.
  • Extensive experience in troubleshooting common authentication issues (Kerberos, NTLM).
  • Expertise with classification tools such as Titus by Fortra.
  • High proficiency in PowerShell scripting.
  • In-depth knowledge of File Service Security and Microsoft’s Dynamic Access Control (DAC).
  • Experience with cloud-based print solutions like PaperCut.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Windows Server Update Services.
  • Proficient in using low-level debugging and troubleshooting tools such as SysInternals and Wireshark.
  • Expert knowledge in deploying, upgrading, and maintaining Thales CT Hardware Security Modules and Microsoft Windows Certificate Authority (PKI) servers.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Exchange, Endpoint Management (System Center) Suite, and Windows Server.
  • Experience with enterprise management tools for Active Directory (e.g., GPO Admin, Active Roles).
  • Understanding of Attributes Based Access Control (ABAC) systems and software such as Nextlabs.
  • Basic knowledge of networking protocols, subnetting, and troubleshooting.
  • Moderate experience with F5 Load Balancers, Access Policy Manager (APM), and writing iRules.
  • Knowledge in performing schema additions and updates to MS AD and LDS.
  • Experience with large-scale, multi-Active Directory forest environments and Active Directory trust.
  • Ability to implement STE/STN compliance settings and troubleshoot related issues.
  • Capability to derive requirements from client needs and design straightforward solutions to complex challenges.
  • Experience with Linux RedHat and CentOS.
  • Nutanix experience is advantageous.
Qualifications:
  • Clearance Required: TS/SCI with Appropriate Polygraph
  • At least twenty (20) years of experience as a Systems Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline from an accredited institution.
  • Five (5) years of additional Systems Engineering experience may substitute for a Bachelor's degree, totaling 25 years of experience as a Systems Engineer.
  • Compliance with DoD 8570; Security + CE certification is mandatory.
