We are seeking an exceptional physician to serve as the Division Chief of Pediatric Nephrology at Duke University School of Medicine. This is a unique opportunity to lead a team of outstanding faculty members in delivering high-quality care to patients and their families.
About the RoleThe Division Chief will be responsible for combining the delivery of outstanding clinical services with world-class research and teaching. The division currently includes six clinical and one research faculty, one nurse practitioner, four nurse clinicians, two pediatric nephrology fellows, several clinical research and bench research personnel, and clerical staff.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Division of Pediatric Nephrology in delivering high-quality patient care, research, and education
- Develop and implement innovative patient care programs
- Mentor and support faculty members in their research and clinical endeavors
- Collaborate with other divisions, including Adult Nephrology, Pediatric Urology, and Transplant Surgery
- Ensure the division's research and education programs are aligned with the department's strategic goals
