Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Engineering Specialist to join our team at GeoEngineers. As an Environmental Engineering Specialist, you will play a critical role in planning, performing, and managing fieldwork to collect environmental data, overseeing cleanup construction, and interpreting environmental data.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, perform, and manage field explorations and environmental data collection efforts, including soil, sediment, groundwater, and vapor sampling.
  • Evaluate and interpret field and laboratory environmental data, perform engineering/scientific analysis, and develop solutions to complex problems.
  • Develop conceptual site models to evaluate contaminant exposure pathways to receptors and prepare remedial investigation work plans, sampling and analysis plans, and data reports.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in civil/environmental engineering or geology; Master's degree preferred.
  • 5 to 10 years of environmental consulting or related professional experience.
  • PE license required.
  • Familiarity with environmental regulations, including Model Toxics Control Act (MTCA) Cleanup Regulations and Sediment Management Standards (SMS).
