Job Summary

Tencarva Machinery Company is seeking a skilled Submersible Pump Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for repairing and rebuilding customer equipment, maintaining high-quality service standards, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect, repair, and service customer equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Establish a work schedule in coordination with the Service Manager to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Assist with repairs at customers' sites, adhering to customer safety rules and policies, and safely operating company-owned vehicles.
  • Keep work areas safe and clean, adhering to Tencarva safety rules and policies, and using safety equipment as required.
  • Travel for training or customer assistance as necessary, and be prepared to take responsibility for handling approved personal travel expenses.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management to ensure the success of the team.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent, or 5+ years of related work experience and/or training.
  • Valid driver's license with 0-5 points per VA DMV.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, write routine reports, and effectively present information.
  • Basic computer skills and internet software knowledge.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical equations and use measuring tools.

Work Environment

The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and outside weather conditions. The noise level is usually moderate.
