Job Summary

Wagner Spray Tech is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Lead to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating and supporting the day-to-day activities of our warehouse, ensuring that we meet our operational objectives for Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mentor and train new and existing staff, providing regular feedback and coaching to ensure accuracy and consistency in their work.
  • Facilitate daily Tier 1 meetings and attend daily Tier 2 meetings to drive the warehouse to meet Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost targets.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety rules and regulations, and take prompt corrective action concerning safety hazards.
  • Maintain the highest levels of product conformance to specifications by assuring standard work is followed and equipment is operating per specifications.
  • Provide leadership to support daily production requirements, train backup personnel, and allocate labor as required.
  • Reduce overall cost by driving lean principles, including rapid problem solving and cycle time reduction.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) required.
  • Post-secondary education or certification in Lean Manufacturing, Process Flow, or related field preferred.
  • At least three years' experience in a customer responsive, lean manufacturing/assembly/distribution operation.
  • Forklift certification or license.
