Warehouse Lead Job Description

Renewal by Andersen is seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Lead to join our team in Roseville. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for effectively managing the warehouse, ensuring seamless logistics, and maintaining high-quality inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the receiving, storing, and shipping of merchandise and materials, ensuring accurate inventory records and timely delivery.
  • Analyze installation schedules and job information to ensure site materials are available as required, monitoring usage and adjusting stock levels accordingly.
  • Plan and schedule work activities, documenting best practices and ensuring efficient warehouse operations.
  • Provide daily work direction to supplemental staff, ensuring tasks are completed to the highest standard.
  • Negotiate best prices for stock items, submitting purchase orders and coordinating installation schedulers.
  • Locate special/non-standard items, negotiating best prices and providing price and schedule information to sales representatives.
  • Maintain stock of tools, blades, and other installation tools, monitoring usage and ensuring equipment is returned in safe condition.
  • Coordinate and schedule activities associated with removal of construction waste, implementing and managing recycling programs.
  • Meet Renewal standards for quality and customer satisfaction, ensuring a neat, clean, and safe environment.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable accident and moving violation motor vehicle record
  • MS Office computer skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to proactively manage inventory levels, with two years warehouse experience
