Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze the results of promotional campaigns to provide insights and optimizations to improve performance.
  • Build and maintain a robust internal reporting cadence of the metrics relevant for marketing initiatives.
  • Use extensive amounts of user data to build audiences and targeting cohorts to enable relevant and effective promotions.
  • Maintain and build upon data pipelines, tools, and processes that power campaigns.
  • Present weekly marketing reports to senior leadership.
  • Partner with VP Brand Marketing, VP of R&D, Director of Brand Marketing and Sr. Director of Business Intelligence on pricing and promotional strategy using financial modeling.
  • Provide analysis and manage P&L for Smoothie King gift card program, including forecasting expenses vs. breakage.
  • Assist Digital Marketing team in preparing financial analysis on loyalty programs and campaigns, digital sales and CRM offers to help understand the anatomy of a discount and build repository of financially viable offers.
  • Drive optimization and best practices, to help improve our decision-making on which content to support, execution of how we support them, and understanding on how to best use our platform tools.
  • Build and maintain robust financial dashboards and analytical tools to help Marketing team develop effective strategies and tactics to grow business and brand.
  • Independently develop process improvements resulting in the development of new technological ways to streamline and improve reporting efficiency.
  • Consistently communicate across various functions and departments driving appropriate collaboration, coordination, analysis, and timing of deliverables.
Requirements
  • Solid understanding and background of integrated financial and reporting systems.
  • High level problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Able to manipulate and leverage large amounts of data into meaningful reporting.
  • Ability to identify and implement strategic objectives in area(s) of responsibility.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem identification, and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically.
  • Strong financial modeling and analysis skills is a must.
  • Intellectual curiosity and professional ownership.
  • Has a proactive and constructive style of engagement with business leaders to earn credibility as a finance partner who adds value and helps drive business results.
  • Excellent ability to effectively manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
  • Ability to package and present financial data/information in an executive manner focused on driving business decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with all levels of the organization.
  • Experience in the early stages of a high growth business preferred.
Education and Experience Requirements
  • A Bachelors degree in Management Information Systems, Data Analytics, or Finance.
  • 2+ years finance experience in the restaurant or retail industry experience is preferred.
  • Expert level in Microsoft Office, with superior level of comfort in advanced Excel functionality including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, arrays, etc. in support of robust modeling.
  • Advanced experience using data analytic tools such as Tableau and SQL is a plus.
  • English-Korean bilingual preferred.
  • Proficient in the manipulation and analysis of data.
  • Technical proficiency to perform data extraction and analysis.
  • Statistical proficiency (e.g. A/B testing, regression analysis).
  • Experience working with marketing teams and the fast-paced business environment.
  • Inherently curious, organized person, who loves using data to inform decisions.
  • Personal passion for health and fitness is a plus.
