Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School-Based Behavioral Health Professional to join our team at Woodfords Family Services.


Job Summary

This full-time position will involve working one-on-one with children or adolescents in a public school setting to help achieve learning and development objectives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of evidence-based practices and be able to foster a therapeutic, enriched, and meaningful learning environment for students with developmental, mental health, and/or co-occurring disorders.


Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to students in a public school setting
  • Assess and develop individual goals related to learning and development objectives
  • Implement evidence-based practices to promote positive behaviors and social skills
  • Collaborate with educators and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive support system

Requirements
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in psychology, social services, education, or related field preferred
  • BHP certification (course can be completed as part of employment and paid for by Woodfords)
  • Valid driver's license with current auto insurance and use of a reliable vehicle
