Position Overview:
This role is essential for managing the necessary documentation required by US Customs and Government Agencies for the importation of goods into the United States on behalf of various clients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction.
- Accurately classify goods for customs clearance utilizing databases, standard operating procedures, tariff books, and online resources.
- Perform data entry and manage the processing of diverse import-related documents for submission to US Customs, including handling all Participating Government Agencies (PGAs).
- Maintain and update all shipment documentation to comply with record-keeping regulations.
- Adhere to all international import and export laws and regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams, departments, and external stakeholders to provide a high level of service.
- Process agency brokerage shipments and manage remote filings as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all governmental and organizational policies.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned, with paid training provided.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED is required; no prior industry experience is necessary, though a minimum of 6 months of work experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in data entry and keyboarding is essential.
- Familiarity with MS Office, Outlook, and office equipment (phone, fax, photocopier, printer, scanner) is required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, along with problem-solving abilities.
- Capacity to manage a high volume of work and meet time-sensitive deadlines.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and utilize multiple systems and reference materials.
- Engage with customers, carriers, brokers, government agencies, and internal staff across all levels.

Work Schedule:
- Shift: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm, Tuesday through Saturday.
