We are in search of an Applied Scientist with a robust background in applied Machine Learning and Data Science. The ideal candidate will possess a deep enthusiasm for creating data-driven products, the capability to derive actionable insights, and a proven history of executing complex projects that yield significant business impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate data-driven insights to enhance the acquisition of new members.
  • Increase benefit adoption tailored to customer segments and verticals, guiding customers to their pivotal moments.
  • Conduct customer lifecycle analysis to refine targeting, identification, and spending behavior.
  • Collaborate with a team of applied scientists and software engineers to implement machine learning and data science solutions into production.
  • Elevate the team's engineering expertise and foster ongoing scientific innovation as a thought leader and practitioner.
  • Guide and mentor talented team members, offering technical and career development support to both scientists and engineers.

About the Team:

The Marketing Science team employs scientific methodologies and research techniques to deepen our understanding of consumer behavior, market dynamics, and the efficacy of marketing strategies.

Our objective is to develop and refine theories and models that inform marketing decisions and provide insights into consumer decision-making processes.

We also aim to identify and investigate emerging trends and technologies in marketing, creating innovative strategies to tackle the challenges and opportunities in the field.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in engineering, technology, computer science, machine learning, robotics, operations research, statistics, mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
  • 3+ years of experience in building machine learning models or developing algorithms for business applications.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, or similar.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • PhD in engineering, technology, computer science, machine learning, robotics, operations research, statistics, mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
  • 5+ years of experience in building machine learning models for business applications.
  • Experience with patents or publications in top-tier peer-reviewed conferences or journals.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts and solutions to all organizational levels.
