Job Overview

Position Summary:

AEVEX Aerospace is in search of highly skilled professionals to fill the role of Intelligence Discipline Lead Subject Matter Expert (IDL SME). This position is critical in providing expert support to USSOCOM, focusing on targeting analysis and operational execution. The IDL SME will be responsible for delivering specialized non-personal labor, materials, and services essential for effective intelligence operations, coordination, product development, data integration, and alignment with USSOCOM's mission objectives.

Individuals in this role must maintain a state of global readiness and be prepared for immediate deployment to potentially hazardous environments. Deployments may occur in various operational theaters characterized by permissive, uncertain, or hostile conditions, often requiring extended stays in austere settings.


Key Responsibilities:

The IDL SME will undertake the following responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized non-personal labor, materials, and services necessary for intelligence operations, ensuring effective coordination and product development aligned with USSOCOM's objectives.
  • Demonstrate SME-level expertise in the relevant intelligence discipline, showcasing experience and results that include a comprehensive understanding of training and mission requirements.
  • Facilitate communication with USSOCOM personnel, assisting in the identification and development of effective Courses of Action (COAs) and prioritizing operational tasks.
  • Train team members and leverage technical knowledge to enhance long-term operational effectiveness for USSOCOM.

Qualifications:

Required Skills and Experience:

  • A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in analytical intelligence operations, ideally within an Intelligence Task Force, National Intelligence Support Team, or similar operational community.
  • At least five (5) years of operational analysis experience in the specific analytical field, with two (2) years in a managerial capacity supporting special operations.
  • Advanced proficiency in the F3EAD targeting methodology, with extensive knowledge of additional intelligence disciplines.
  • Expertise in the Intelligence Cycle, HVI Targeting, Social Network Analysis, and other relevant analytical areas.
  • In-depth understanding of analytical theory, doctrine, and methodologies related to intelligence operations.
  • Current Top Secret clearance and eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
  • Possession of a valid US passport and ability to meet all pre-deployment requirements.
