Position Summary

  • Represent the organization professionally in interactions with clients and stakeholders.
  • Regularly assess team skills and develop tailored coaching and development plans to support individual growth.
  • Provide training on new tools, processes, and architectural methodologies.
  • Maintain accurate records of team labor for both internal and external projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline; experience in a manufacturing engineering context is advantageous.
  • Over 10 years of management experience in software and controls engineering (or equivalent).
  • At least 5 years of experience in controls, automation, and electrical systems design and integration.
  • Minimum of 5 years in engineering design for automation equipment.
  • Familiarity with machine programming systems and methodologies.
  • Proficient in managing software engineers using various programming languages and data transaction systems.
  • Expertise in controls logic and SCADA telemetry protocols.
  • Experience with version control tools for software and controls.
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics and ensure compliance with standards.
  • Knowledge of relevant electrical safety regulations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Preferred experience in project engineering for over 5 years.
  • Comprehensive understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices.
  • Knowledge of Bill of Materials and MRP systems.
  • Experience with AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks.
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis tools.
