Assembly Technician

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the assembly and packaging of various products, utilizing hand tools and power tools. This role involves reading blueprints and work instructions, as well as counting inventory and taping boxes.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble and package various products using hand tools and power tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
- Tape boxes and count inventory to ensure accurate packaging.
- Lift and move items weighing between 7-40 lbs.
- Add foam to cases and assemble mid-size flashlights.
- Train on and operate pallet jacks and automated shrink wrap machines.
- Use small drills, hammers, and operate a rivet machine for packaging.
- Experience with mechanical assembly and general labor.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Capability to lift and move items weighing up to 40 lbs.

Work EnvironmentYou will work in a clean environment, assembling various sizes of heavy-duty cases to store lighting accessories, cameras, and other equipment. Safety glasses, gloves, and orange vests are provided, but employees must supply their own steel-toed boots. The role requires lifting items weighing between 7-35 lbs and may involve using small drills, hammers, and operating a rivet machine. Training will be provided for operating pallet jacks and automated shrink wrap machines.
