Job Summary

BCforward is seeking a skilled Assembler and Test Technician to join our team in Torrance, CA. This is a contract position with a potential for extension or permanent employment for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform precision assembly on complex production and repair actuators, adjusting or aligning through shimming and other mechanical adjustments as specified by blueprint or other specification limits.
  • Utilize various mechanical measuring equipment, including dial indicators, calipers, and indicators, to obtain proper assembly and build requirements.
  • Maintain dimensional accuracy on assemblies using torque wrenches, fixtures, tooling, gages, and other measuring devices.
  • Work from assembly instructions, both written and oral, to ensure accurate and efficient assembly processes.
  • Access US export-controlled information as required for the job.
