Key Responsibilities:
In this role, the successful candidate will collaborate closely with Principal Investigators (PIs) while also demonstrating the ability to work independently within the research framework of the PI's laboratory.

Responsibilities include:

  • Generating innovative ideas that advance ongoing research initiatives.
  • Exercising creativity and sound judgment in planning and managing extensive scientific research programs.
  • Overseeing laboratory operations, including supervising Postdoctoral researchers and technicians.
  • Ensuring the maintenance and functionality of laboratory instruments and facilities.
  • Guaranteeing the timely and precise completion of research projects.
  • Providing technical guidance to students in various laboratory techniques and safety protocols.
  • Seeking external grant funding for independent research projects with appropriate approvals.
  • Contributing to the writing of grant proposals.
  • Ensuring compliance with research quality control standards.
  • Developing protocols for data collection and quality assurance.
  • Staying informed about advancements in specialized fields through participation in scientific conferences.
  • Making significant contributions to scientific publications and presentations.
  • Recommending equipment purchases and lab space redesigns.
  • Coordinating research activities and experimental designs across various labs and collaborators.
  • Identifying and resolving technical challenges.
  • Executing and coordinating critical research assignments aligned with departmental objectives.
  • Conducting in-depth research on complex problems and defining the scope of investigations.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess a Master’s degree in a relevant field and have 0-1 year of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates with substantial experience, particularly those who have completed Postdoctoral training and have a proven publication record, are highly desirable. Effective communication skills across all organizational levels are essential.
