Aircraft Maintenance Technician

Hoffmann Aviation Services is seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our team. As an A & P Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, inspections, modifications, and repairs on our fleet of aircraft.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aircraft maintenance, with experience working with Part 91 piston and/or turboprop airplanes. You will be expected to maintain a high level of quality and safety, while also being a team player and able to multitask.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspections and repairs
- Ensure inventory of critical components are available for unscheduled maintenance
- Maintain aircraft appearance, both exterior and interior
- Provide for the security, care, and maintenance of the hangar, tools, and equipment
- Ground-run and taxi all equipment as trained and authorized by the DOM
- Ensure all internal records are maintained to track aircraft and equipment squawks, diagnostics, repairs, parts, inspection, and return to service information
Requirements:
- A & P rating required
- 3 to 5 years of experience working with Part 91 piston and/or turboprop airplanes
- Attitude and work performance that demonstrates Safety and Quality First attitude
- Strong written, reading and verbal use of the English language
- Maintain positive relationships with employees, vendors and customers
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Available to work overtime as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Inspection Authority (IA) certification, strongly preferred
- Experience with structural repair, particularly sheet metal preferred
- Available to travel as required to meet Hoffmann Aviation Services' mission objectives
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to access file cabinets/shelving, aircraft undercarriage at various heights
- Visual acuity to see close, distance, color, peripheral and depth perception
- The ability to climb ladders, scaffolding, and work at heights up to six (6) feet
- The ability to occasionally work outside during all seasons of the year
- Overtime may be necessary during major inspections and busy seasons
- Ability to pass a drug test, motor vehicle and criminal background check
