Job Summary

The American Heritage School is seeking a skilled Groundskeeper to maintain the beauty and functionality of our outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the upkeep and appearance of grass, flower beds, ballfields, parking lots, tennis courts, and other outdoor structures.
  • Perform seasonal tasks such as mowing, trimming, edging, weeding, and fertilizing during the summer months.
  • Remove snow from hard surfaces during winter months and apply ice melt as needed.
  • Assist with indoor cleaning assignments and other duties assigned by the Facilities Director.
  • Work a standard 8-hour day, 40 hours per week, with flexible scheduling during winter months.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess excellent physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and prior experience in grounds maintenance or a related field is preferred.
