Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Saw Operator to join our team at Impact Housing. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating an up-cut saw and a Safety Speed vertical panel saw, ensuring accurate and efficient cuts while adhering to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate an up-cut saw and a Safety Speed vertical panel saw with precision and speed.
  • Ensure all cuts meet the required specifications and quality standards.
  • Follow established safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Maintain and clean the saws regularly to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during saw operation.
  • Collaborate with the team to meet production goals and deadlines.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience as a saw operator, preferably with both up-cut saw and vertical saw.
  • Knowledge of computerized cutting systems, such as Estiframe.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy materials, and operate machinery.
