Responsibilities:
  • Project Leadership: Oversee the preparation of project drawings, calculations, and specifications, and lead project teams in their execution.
  • Engineering Analysis and Design: Prepare engineering analysis, design, calculations, and reports, including evaluations of land use and zoning requirements.
  • Permit Applications and Approvals: Prepare permit applications, work through agency review processes, and obtain necessary approvals.
  • Site Visits and Collaboration: Conduct site visits during the construction phase and work collaboratively with multi-discipline teams.
  • Mentorship and Training: Mentor and train junior staff members to ensure knowledge transfer and skill development.
Requirements:
  • Professional Experience: Must be an engineer or designer with 3+ years of experience in land development projects, sustainable design, utility design, and stormwater management design.
  • Design Experience: Experience with K-12 site design is preferred.
  • Zoning Ordinances and Site Plan Approval: Familiarity with zoning ordinances and site plan approval processes is essential.
  • CAD Skills: Proficient in Civil 3D and Office 360 products.
Compensation and Benefits:

The salary for this position is commensurate with experience and ranges between $85,000 and $110,000 per year, depending on qualifications.
