Operations Director

Are you a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership abilities? Do you have a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and lean manufacturing principles? We are seeking an Operations Director to oversee all facets of manufacturing operations and engineering at The Timken Company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Leadership: Oversee engineering, quality control, production planning, inventory management, and logistics to optimize productivity and minimize costs.
  • Strategic Planning and Business Development: Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and execute the company's long-term strategic plan.
  • Financial Management: Oversee operations side of the P&L and annual budget, ensuring financial targets are met and resources are allocated effectively.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Inspire and motivate high-performing teams while fostering a culture of collaboration.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 15 + years of experience in manufacturing operations.
  • 15 + years of leadership experience; 5+ years in higher level positions.
