Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Healthcare Staffing Plus. As a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist, you will be responsible for capturing high-quality diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues using computerized tomography equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Position patients appropriately for scanning specific areas of their bodies.
  • Perform regular warm-up sequences on the CT scanner to prolong the life of the X-ray tubes.
  • Sterilize radiologic equipment to ensure patient safety.
  • Correctly interpret doctors' written scanning instructions.
  • Administer radiocontrast agents to patients to enhance the visibility of internal organs and tissues.
  • Evaluate CT scans to determine their technical quality.
  • Explain scanning procedures to patients and provide reassurance and support as needed.
Requirements
  • BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • National Institutes of Health (NIH) certification.
  • Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) Certification.
  • Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Strong technical skills.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Passionate about patient care.
  • Minimum of two years of current CT Tech experience.
  • Graduate from a fully accredited Radiology Tech program.
  • Active unencumbered CT Tech Illinois state license.
  • One year of Epic experience.
  • ARRT Certification.
