Key Responsibilities:
The Strategic Business Consultant will contribute to Barrow Wise's projects, undertaking the following tasks:
- Facilitate requirement gathering sessions, perform Fit/Gap Analysis, and create and document Business, System Requirements, User Stories, and Use Case Scenarios.
- Lead Joint Application Design sessions and produce functional and technical design documentation for business process modifications and report generation.
- Validate System Configuration and Set-ups across all testing environments, conduct Conference Room Pilots, and implement changes into Production.
- Draft test strategies and plans, along with writing test scenarios, cases, and scripts.
- Oversee testing activities including system, integration, and user acceptance testing, prepare user training materials, and deliver training to the user community.
- Manage project defects effectively.
- Conduct business process analysis sessions and develop documentation of business process models, workflows, business requirements, use case scenarios, user story documentation, functional specifications, and requirements traceability matrices.
- Implement PMO documentation standards and SDLC processes while providing recommendations for process enhancements.
- Perform designated Level 2 Support tasks in the relevant functional area for Business Applications.
- Drive resolutions for any support escalations from Business Leaders and Technical Support.
- Deliverables include Business Requirements Document (BRD), Functional Requirements Specification (FRS), Use Cases, User Stories, Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM), Data Flow Diagrams (DFD), Business Process Models, Gap Analysis, and Stakeholder Analysis.
- Collaborate effectively with business stakeholders.
- Work both onsite and remotely.
- U.S. Citizenship
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field.
- Certifications in PMI, PBA, CBAP, and/or ITIL.
- Experience in Business Analysis for cross-functional implementations.
- A minimum of five (5) years of relevant business analysis experience.
- A minimum of five (5) years of related data analysis experience.
- Preferred: Experience in Education (K-12) project or program work.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent organizational skills and the capacity to multitask.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
