About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Mechanical Engineer Trainee to join our team at Heidelberg Materials US, Inc. in a Cement Operations role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support operations in achieving production goals through collaboration with experienced engineers and managers in various departments.
  • Participate in production and maintenance meetings to ensure smooth plant operations.
  • Develop basic supervisory skills by working alongside supervisors and completing assigned project work.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve issues.
  • Participate in training programs to enhance knowledge and skills.
  • Contribute to the Continuous Improvement Program by suggesting changes to routines, personnel, equipment, and processes.
  • Adhere to plant and MSHA Safety Policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment, and maintain awareness of plant environmental standards.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
