ATC Healthcare Services is currently seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a PRN position at a Long-Term Acute Care Hospital.
- Shifts available: Day (7a-7:30p) or Night (7p-7:30a)
- Compensation: $50/hour
POSITION OVERVIEW
The REGISTERED RESPIRATORY THERAPIST (RRT) is a skilled professional responsible for directing, supervising, evaluating, and delivering respiratory therapy services to patients as prescribed by the attending physician.
Respiratory therapy is provided in accordance with the relevant state scope of practice regulations.
Qualifications:
- ACLS Certification
- BLS Certification
- Recent Immunization Records
- TDAP
- Varicella
- MMR
- Flu (during flu season)
- Drug Screening (9 Panel)
- Valid PA RRT License
- Recent Employment Physical (within the last year)
- FBI Background Check

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Therapy
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Adhere to ATC policies and procedures.
- Follow client facility policies and procedures.
- Accurately document all services provided.
- Initiate, administer, and monitor all assigned respiratory care procedures.
- Implement emergency measures according to client resuscitation protocols.
- Maintain confidentiality concerning patient care and facility practices in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Deliver patient care in a respectful, non-discriminatory manner that acknowledges cultural diversity and age appropriateness, ensuring autonomy, rights, and dignity are upheld.
- Effectively communicate information to relevant personnel.
- Maintain professional competency through participation in continuing education programs and meeting state-specific requirements.
- Adhere to ethical and professional standards of conduct as established by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
