Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Service: Greet and service customers in accordance with established guest service standards, ensuring a positive and courteous experience.
  • Cash Handling: Handle financial transactions, including exchanging cash for slot tickets, performing credit checks, and cashing checks.
  • Check Processing: Process checks, compute, classify, record, and verify cash and coin according to specific policies and procedures.
  • Jackpot Processing: Process jackpots and provide change and breaks down bills.
  • Balance and Reconciliation: Balance funds and assets at the end of each work shift.
  • Sports Wagering: Responsible for sports wagering ticket redemption at a dedicated cage window.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Respond to guest questions and concerns, comply with all aspects of the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Program, and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Age and Education: Must be 18 years of age or older and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: One or more years of cashier or related experience preferred.
  • Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Licensing: Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing.

Physical and Mental Demands:

  • Physical Demands: Regularly required to see, talk or hear; stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Mental Demands: Able to interact with others while maintaining a positive and courteous demeanor under frequently fast-paced work conditions.
