About this Job:

We are looking for a skilled Construction Flagging Professional to join our team at Quality Labor Management (QLM). The successful candidate will work on construction sites in Charleston, South Carolina, managing traffic flow and ensuring safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct traffic flow at construction sites and manage lane closures.
  • Place and remove signs, cones, and barriers to guide traffic.
  • Collaborate with construction personnel and drivers to communicate traffic patterns and detours.
  • Monitor and report any hazardous conditions or incidents on the work site.
  • Verify compliance with all applicable traffic control regulations.

Requirements:

  • Holds a certification in flagging from a reputable organization.
  • Has experience working on highway and road construction projects.
  • Is knowledgeable about safety regulations and standards.
  • Possesses a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Can work effectively in a team environment.
  • Is physically fit and flexible to adapt to changing weather conditions.
  • Exhibits excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Compensation:

This is a contract position with an estimated annual salary of $58,500 based on industry standards and location factors.
