Overview

This role is designed to provide quality care to patients and families in a healthcare setting. The successful candidate will work under the direction of a registered nurse or physician, promoting health and preventing disease.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Perform general nursing care in accordance with established standards and guidelines.">
  • Assist with the preparation of equipment and assist the physician/clinical provider during treatment, examination, and testing of patients.">
  • Collect assessment data, prepare patients for examination, and document clinical information on patient records.">
  • Order diagnostic tests as directed by registered nurses or physicians and gather diagnostic test results prior to physician/clinical provider assessment.">
  • Schedule procedures and obtain authorizations as necessary.">
  • May administer injections or medication, collect blood, tissue, or other laboratory specimens, and prepare them for testing.">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • A high school diploma/GED or equivalent is required.">
  • Current state licensure as an LPN or current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) is mandatory.">
  • CPR certification from the American Heart Association is required.">
  • Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate, Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate, and Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate are essential.">
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE ONE YEAR OF HEALTHCARE EXPERIENCE, STATE APPROVED IV COURSE CERTIFICATION, KNOWLEDGE OF OASIS DOCUMENTATION AND ASSESSMENT PROCESS, AND PALS OR ACLS CERTIFICATION.">

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $65,000 per year.
