We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Advisor to join our team at Career Systems. As a Residential Advisor, you will play a vital role in creating a comfortable, safe, and supportive atmosphere for our residents in student housing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide daily supervision and assistance in monitoring students' personal hygiene, room assignments, and special recreation activities.
  • Offer informal counseling related to stress management, personal problems, and emergency situations.
  • Document students' records and access relevant data, including attendance, performance, and progress.
  • Conduct evening and overnight bed checks as required.
  • Serve as a channel of communication between management staff and students.
  • Facilitate small group discussions on life skills, peer mediation, and conflict resolution.
  • Assess situations and report incidents to ensure the safety and well-being of students and staff.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Six months' experience in education or a similar field.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • B.A. or B.S. Degree in a behavioral health field from an accredited college or university.
  • One year's experience in education or a similar field.
