Job Title: Director, Regulatory Affairs

Invenergy is seeking a highly skilled Director, Regulatory Affairs to join our team. As a key member of our regulatory affairs team, you will be responsible for representing Invenergy before state economic and environmental regulators, transmission system operators, and regional trade associations in Texas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement regulatory strategies to support Invenergy's business objectives.
  • Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including regulators, industry associations, and other key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure regulatory compliance and effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Engage with state agencies and other stakeholders to advance Invenergy's interests.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Provide regular updates to internal stakeholders on regulatory developments and issues.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, economics, finance, law, or environmental policy.
  • 8+ years of experience in the energy industry, with a focus on regulatory affairs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA, MA, or law degree.
  • Knowledge of organized power markets and regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience working in Texas and with state agencies.
  • General knowledge of PUCT and ERCOT policy and precedent.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Salary Range:

$168,000 - $208,000
