Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Creating and implementing daily robotics and programming instruction to students with varying ability levels;
  • Teaching fundamental robotics, programming, and coding concepts to promote skill development and proficiency;
  • Supervising groups of students, ensuring their safety and well-being;
  • Organizing and preparing daily plans in a fun and creative manner;
  • Using effective classroom management skills to lead activities and create a positive learning environment;
  • Collaborating with fellow Activity Specialists to achieve daily goals;
  • Maintaining a high level of professionalism and adhering to Impact Kids' Code of Conduct.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working with children in a teaching or instructional capacity;
  • 1-5 years of experience as a robotics, programming, or coding instructor;
  • A Bachelor's degree (preferred but not required);
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment;
  • Good physical condition enabling them to execute all responsibilities associated with this position.
Working Conditions

This role requires the ability to travel and respond to emergency situations that may require running and climbing stairs. A willingness to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities is essential.
