Nursing Faculty Opportunity

Metropolitan Community College is seeking a qualified Nursing Faculty member to join our team. As an adjunct faculty member, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality instruction and engaging in activities that support student learning.

Responsibilities
  • Teach nursing courses to students at various levels
  • Develop and implement curriculum to meet student learning outcomes
  • Assess student learning and provide constructive feedback
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and grades
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Master's degree with 18 graduate hours in nursing
  • Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Five years of nursing experience
  • Three years of clinical or classroom teaching experience (preferred)
  • Current RN active licensure to practice professional nursing in Missouri with no disciplinary actions
  • Eligible to apply for RN licensure in the state of Kansas or carry a multi-state license
