Inpatient Nurse Manager for Penn State Health

Penn State Health is seeking an experienced Inpatient Nurse Manager to lead our nursing team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily nursing operations, ensuring high-quality patient care, and implementing evidence-based practices.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage a team of nurses, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient care and outcomes.
- Monitor and analyze patient data, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest nursing research and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve patient care.
- Foster a culture of excellence, respect, and open communication among team members.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment or multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
- AHA BLS certification prior to the end of the orientation period.
- Minimum one year of experience in critical care, emergency department, and/or women's and babies, preferably with leadership experience.
