SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Registered Nurse in this position will assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain accurate medical records.
Responsibilities include administering nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients, advising patients on health maintenance and disease prevention, and monitoring, recording, and reporting symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact required.
BLS required prior to orientation completion. Obtain AHA ACLS certification prior to end of orientation period.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):
Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred. Neonatal Intensive Care experience preferred.
