About the Role:

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate RN Liver Transplant Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Liver Transplant Unit, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our transplant program.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care to liver transplant patients, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and performing various medical procedures.
  • Implement, monitor, evaluate, update, and revise patient care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Monitor, record, document, and communicate patients' conditions to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments, and note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
  • Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs, and educate patients and their families on post-discharge care.

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • One year of current acute care RN experience, with a preference for experience in a transplant or critical care setting.
