We are seeking a qualified Automotive Seating Systems Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the design and development of automotive seating systems and subsystems.
Key Responsibilities- Possess a comprehensive understanding of engineering design and development principles related to automotive seating.
- Demonstrate advanced proficiency in CATIA V5/V6 software.
- Prepare and execute design releases within the 3DExperience PLM system.
- Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings, specifically utilizing CATIA V5.
- Engage in the design of various seat components, including but not limited to: Cushion Frames, Back Frames, Headrests, and Recliners.
- Conduct comprehensive packaging studies for seating components.
- Perform feasibility studies and evaluate A-class surfaces, while establishing craftsmanship targets.
- Contribute to the design of automotive component parts using CATIA V5/V6.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive engineering, particularly in seating systems, and a passion for innovative design solutions.
