Position Overview:
The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the safety and cleanliness of the venue, contributing to a positive experience for all attendees. This position offers an hourly wage of $13.50.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute general cleaning tasks, which may include dusting, sweeping, mopping floors, washing windows, and maintaining exterior walkways.
- Thoroughly clean and disinfect restrooms, ensuring all fixtures and surfaces are maintained to high standards.
- Report any damages or maintenance requirements to the Housekeeping Manager or Supervisor.
- Demonstrate initiative in job functions and embrace new responsibilities as they arise.
- Exhibit a collaborative spirit and assist colleagues as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness in outdoor areas and entrances by removing litter and debris.
- Support the Housekeeping Manager/Supervisor in identifying opportunities for enhancing efficiency and productivity.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager or Supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in housekeeping is preferred but not mandatory.
- Must possess a customer service orientation and be willing to engage with the public during events.
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery and equipment is advantageous.
- Knowledge of safe handling of cleaning chemicals is essential.
- Must be capable of navigating stairs safely.
- Familiarity with various cleaning supplies and chemicals is beneficial.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.
