Position Overview:

We are in search of a dynamic and seasoned Tax Manager to become a vital part of our energetic finance team. In this role, you will manage a diverse client portfolio, including C-corporations, S-corporations, and high-net-worth individuals, delivering a wide array of tax services. This position is crucial to our operations and will encompass tax compliance, preparation, planning, advisory services, return filing, and research.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage the tax planning, preparation, and filing processes for C-corporations, S-corporations, and high-net-worth individuals.
2. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
3. Conduct thorough tax research to identify and mitigate risks while optimizing tax strategies.
4. Provide advisory services to clients, clarifying the tax implications of their business decisions.
5. Prepare accurate and timely tax returns, assisting clients with audits and disputes.
6. Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, delivering exceptional service.
7. Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations, informing clients and team members accordingly.
8. Collaborate with team members to achieve business objectives and enhance tax processes.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
2. CPA or CTC designation preferred.
3. Minimum of three years of experience in a tax manager role or similar position in the finance sector.
4. Extensive knowledge of tax laws and regulations, with experience in planning, preparation, compliance, and research.
5. Proven experience managing a diverse client portfolio, including C-corporations, S-corporations, and high-net-worth individuals.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of interpreting complex financial data.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
8. Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
9. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
10. Strong commitment to ethical standards and integrity.
