Key Responsibilities
  • Welcoming and registering patients promptly and accurately, including the collection of co-pays and necessary registration details.
  • Safeguarding patients' rights by ensuring the confidentiality of personal and financial information.
  • Managing patient flow and overseeing the lobby area to maintain an organized environment.
  • Handling incoming calls, scheduling appointments, and addressing patient inquiries effectively.
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals to facilitate seamless patient care.
  • Maintaining a tidy and orderly front-desk workspace.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical record systems.
  • A minimum of 2 years in a customer-focused role is preferred.
  • BLS certification is a plus.
  • Understanding of insurance summary data is advantageous.
