Certification and Experience Requirements

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at CAMC Memorial Hospital. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnostic imaging and a certification in ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography). A minimum of 2 years of experience in ultrasound technology is required, with a focus on general ultrasound, procedures, and vascular studies. The candidate must also have a current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification and a WV Radiography state license prior to start.

Job Details

This is a full-time position with a varied schedule, including 5x8 evening and night shifts, with every other weekend. The technologist will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing advanced imaging equipment and technology to provide high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Skills and Knowledge

The successful candidate will possess a strong knowledge of ultrasound principles and techniques, with the ability to perform a variety of procedures, including general ultrasound, procedures, and vascular studies. They will also have a strong understanding of patient safety and isolation precautions, with the ability to work effectively in a sterile environment.

Benefits and Requirements

This position offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including a guaranteed 40 hours per week. The candidate must have a permanent address outside of a 100-mile radius from the facility to submit, and cannot return to CAMC as a traveler for 2 years after their last day worked permanently. The submission requirements include various credentials, work history, skills checklist, manager/charge references, and other documents.
