Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our growing team in Waycross, GA. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in pediatric physical therapy principles and practices, with experience evaluating and treating children with a variety of developmental, gross motor, movement, and orthopedic disorders.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess children's physical abilities and identify areas for intervention.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's needs and goals.
- Provide therapeutic interventions using a variety of techniques, including exercise, stretching, manual therapy, and adaptive equipment training.
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.
Qualifications
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Georgia.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Experience working with pediatric populations preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
