We are seeking a highly skilled Analog Power Engineer to join our team at Raytheon Careers. As a key member of our Effector Power and Analog Design (EPAD) Team, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and testing power conversion circuitry for our Telemetry and Flight Termination products.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop power conversion circuitry, including non-isolated and isolated switch mode power converters and linear converters.
- Assist in architecting circuit card level designs and help drive circuit card development through its design phases.
- Collaborate with ECAD drafters to ensure accurate layout and routing activities.
- Function as an individual contributor and engage in personal technical growth.
- Clearly present work product to functional and program leadership.
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced STEM degree.
- Design, analysis, test, and/or simulation experience with non-isolated converter topologies, such as buck, boost, and buck-boost.
- Experience using tools like MATLAB, MathCAD, or Mathematica.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.
- Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Self-starter with good time management skills and an appreciation for team structure.
- Experience communicating and documenting technical topics at the small team level.
