We are seeking a highly experienced Marine Engineering Project Director to lead our team in delivering high-quality projects.

Job Description:

As a Marine Engineering Project Director, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and guidance on marine engineering projects. Your expertise will help ensure that our projects meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop project plans, manage budgets, and oversee the execution of projects from conception to delivery. Your strong technical knowledge and leadership skills will enable you to drive innovation and improve processes, ensuring that our projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead marine engineering projects from conception to delivery, ensuring they meet quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams, including engineers, designers, and technicians.
  • Develop and implement project plans, budgets, and timelines, and monitor progress against these plans.
  • Manage and mitigate risks, ensuring that all projects are delivered safely and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and internal teams, to ensure effective communication and coordination.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in marine engineering, with a strong background in project management.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Strong technical knowledge of marine engineering principles, including design, construction, and operation of vessels.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct project teams.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems, identify solutions, and make informed decisions.
Salary:

$105,000 - $135,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
