Position Overview:
  • Role: Advanced Practice Provider
  • Employment Type: Full Time, 40 hours per week
  • Work Environment: Combination of Outpatient and Inpatient settings
  • Schedule: Outpatient hours are Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM; Inpatient duties include every third Saturday for 8 hours
Qualifications Required:
  • Licensure: Valid Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) or Physician Assistant (PA) license in the State of Illinois; Federal DEA and Illinois Controlled Substance License are mandatory
  • Education: Successful completion of a Master's level program in the relevant specialty
  • Certification: Current BLS/CPR certification is essential
  • Experience: Previous experience as an APN or PA in Gastroenterology is required

  • Conduct thorough health evaluations, perform differential diagnoses, and prescribe treatments in accordance with established protocols for managing both acute and chronic conditions
