Job Description

This Insurance Specialist role involves working from home, with occasional planned travel to an office location or remote work assignments. The primary responsibilities include overseeing accounts within the Insurance Department, handling property damage claims, and protecting Credit Acceptance's interests by ensuring our name is listed on insurance settlement checks. Additionally, you will process paperwork necessary to complete GAP claims for consumers who have purchased supplemental GAP Insurance with their vehicles.

The successful candidate will work independently and as part of a team, taking inbound and making outbound calls using the Artiva Call flow. You will also recommend vehicles for repossession when necessary, fill out necessary paperwork pertaining to insurance claims, and communicate with cross-functional departments to settle claims.

Requirements

We are seeking a highly skilled individual with 1 year minimum experience in customer service and/or collections in a call center environment. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with proficiency in spoken and written Spanish. Additionally, you must be able to operate office equipment, document account notes clearly and efficiently, and work independently and in a team environment.

Preferred qualifications include experience in the finance or automotive industry, insurance/claims processing, collection systems, and fast-paced environments.

Schedule and Training

Training: 5 weeks, Monday through Friday, 8am - 5pm EST. Virtual Training begins on February 17th. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 10am - 7pm EST.

Targeted Compensation and Benefits

Targeted compensation: $23.00 - $26.91/hour based on experience. Uncapped monthly bonus potential based on individual performance, with an estimated average bonus target of around $400.
